BUILD COMPETITION: DEATHMATCH ARENA

    Hi Applecrafters!

    We have just started a new UHC build competition! The goal is to build a deathmatch arena which can be used at the end of UHC. The build can be any theme you like.

    To enter, you have to be Ranger rank or above. You can find a plot by pressing the "Build Competition" icon in the /minigames menu and then doing /plot auto.

    The competition will close on the 7th of October. The winner will receive ARCHITECT RANK!

    (Please note: you can work in teams, but only ONE player will win Architect rank)

    Comments (if any): "The Ironbound Arena", style is inspired by ancient Roman Colosseum designs that use sandstone.

    Within the arena there is a jail room that requires 1 diamond to enter it, its a simple redstone contraption. There's a small maze, white banners by walls, some of them are hiding spots. There's also a few other hiding spots & creations to make the combat more interesting. Didn't know that world edit was possible until i neared to the project's ending, not that i know how to use it.

    But How Many Teams Do We Start Off With Because What If All The Teams Survive The Count Down?

    Question: How many spawn points will there be? I.E. how many people at max will go to deathmatch?

    Comments (if any): There is a glitch where the end portals under the floor do not visually spawn and are invisible.

    Comments (if any): Designed for 2-8 players. It's a Nether Fortress theme, with some star-like magma walls, a lava pool, and plenty of pathways to run around hitting each other on. Three main tiers, with no returning from the bottom one.

    how are people getting heads and barrier blocks to use in their builds? I want to use them too.

    Had no idea this was possible either, neat.
    Just got to figure out how to do get barrier blocks/heads without commands... Ehh..

    First time really using world edit, some things don't look exactly the same but thats fine with me. 4 "biomes" with some hidden tunnels and hiding spaces scattered around, didn't want to focus on them since its meant to be a battle area and not a hide and seek map lol. All surrounded by a giant tree to keep the applecraft theme. =)

    @audini The minigame maps give you access to the installed "worldedit" plugin. Here's a nice starting video:

    For heads just do /heads in your map, you'll get access to the normal head library. I haven't gotten player heads working yet, so you'll have to ask Im_Drunk drunk or 2P_

    First time I enter anything like this so I might be be super lost and did everything wrong. Either way I enjoyed it and spent a ton of time on it since world edit sadly doesn't work on my computer.
