Red turned all namby pamby

    Well... the red server has turned into a sad pathetic clone of Blue and Green and Purple and polka dot and all the other servers... keep inv is now turned on making death no longer matter cuz you cannot lose your stuff ever. Also, apparently claims are now forever, so raiding forgotten claims is no longer a thing.

    This is sad, pathetic, and pitiful.
    Red was good BECAUSE at least there was a small element of danger. You COULD lose all your fancy crap if you pvp'd and got killed... or died falling off a cliff while exploring etc. Now Red is set on touchy feely baby mode.

    I understand this is NOT Apple's fault... it was not intended but caused by some sort of stupid circumstances. I really hope and pray this mess is sorted out soon... hell, give me back Wilderness... that server had some meat on it's bones.

    Cheers for mentioning it's not Applecrafts fault. Bc its not. From the looks of it, they're trying their best to fit in with Minecracts dumb EULA, and you just have to respect that.

    For me the image is Grandpa Jones from Hee Haw - only a bit fatter and with a set of hats from the various crates.

    Well, I AM considered old from a Minecraft perspective... so y'all got that right. I AM plump... cuz I am... and mostly I'm a crazy old ex armorer (yes, I made a living at it)... makes me sad that minecraft armor is boring in appearance.

    I wait patiently for red to be fixed.

    Well, I'm told the changes to Red appear to be permanent... Keep Inv is the one thing I cannot stomach... you cannot lose so there is no point in the game anymore. I'll think on it a bit but likely I'm leaving.

    Mebbe could make red to:
    1) all inv is set to be cursed with vanishing.
    2) each player can have a max of X items cursed with binding on them, that won't be destroyed on death. They can exceed X, but the excess will be randomly selected and lost?

    Where X is not tied to any EULA-violating thingy

    Red is currently redundant anyway

    If there was a way to prevent the items from disappearing in combat (I don't want to kill someone for no gain) then I think 100% it would be a good change.

    I know I don't get a proper speak in this because I'm a pbanned player and not a red player but, what if instead if you kill someone they dont drop the items instead they go straight into the killer's inventory, or maybe something like a gamble where you kill someone you get 1 randomized item from their inventory and not the whole thing? Or maybe something like capture the flag, where you kill your opponent and they drop a chest/flag. Bring that chest/flag into your claim, you get restricted access to /home, /tpa, etc, you (the killer) will have a compass pointing which way is your nearest claim and then you have to start elytra/running/ender pearling to one of your claims, and the person who got killed will respawn 50~100 blocks away from where they died and have a compass pointing to the killer (you), the killed person will still have his items for hunting down the killer, if the killed successfully kills the killer, the killed will now become the hunted and the killer becomes the hunter. If the killed fails and the killer gets to the claim first, the killed will have all his items transferred to the killer. Some of you may think: "well if the killer is 2x more powerful than the person who got killed, what's the point?". Well, once the killer picks up the chest/flag they get weakness 2 and they get 25% more damage than usual (if it is possible to script). Idk man it is just a suggestion idk if it goes along well with Minecraft's EULA or something, it is a lot of work if you do want to make it happen but other than that I just don't want to see red die. :( (You can sprout new ideas from this or branch off idrk.)
