    Hi Applecrafters!

I'd like to say a massive congratulations to everyone who has entered the snowglobe build competition over December. The entries have been seriously fantastic, and it was very difficult to choose winners given that everyone has had a very different approach to the theme.

    ~ FIRST PLACE ~

Architect rank, the largest share of diamond blocks and special award.
    Zimited

    ~ SECOND PLACE ~

Second largest share of diamond blocks and special award.
    Thunderbirdkid, ninja_since_1987 & 000Daiking

    ~ THIRD PLACE ~
Third largest share of diamond blocks and special award.
    Ra1ncheck (aka rainistired)

    ~ HONOURABLE MENTION ~
Entry fee refunded and special award.
    Negative_Nevets & Mitapod

Everyone that entered the competition will be eligible for a participation award. Please contact @SpannaBanana for your reward.

Once again, thank you so much to everyone who participated!

We will aim to have another build competition shortly.

I'd love to have a place to look back on the globes, I was hoping for there to be that so I could explore when it was done.

Congrats to the winners, but would like insight into winning future competitions. Because there were several extremely good submissions that didn't even place and stood out from the other globes.

I'm wondering what the parameters were for being selected as a winner.

Because if it's stuffing the globe full of clutter, to the point it abstracts the view of the snowglobe I could have done that easily. I'm curious as to why architect competitions aren't judged by current architects, too.

They were judged by more than one staff member.

Regardless, it should be judged by those who are already Architects, since their opinion and eye for aesthetically appealing and clear builds would be more suitable for judging a build competition since they obviously know what looks good.
One of the Archs on the Discord server asked for what the winning snowglobes looked like, implying that they didn't have a role in judging them for the competition. Why is this?

Because they don’t play lol. Event was organised by admins, run by admins. Some of which are architects.
