Anybody that watches star trek knows the correct answer
Personally I am here to represent the team of day-ta. Its alot more comfortable to say instead of "Oh dammit, im out of daa-ta." Dayta has a nice flow to it and i have always used it, it might be a british thing but dayta is very common here :>
dang i took this way too serious
I am also team day-ta. It just sounds much better than dah-ta.
Day-ta sounds cooler
Anyone that says d(A)ta is a bot
I'm sorry, I am neutral. I have personally pronounced it both ways.
I prefer day-ta imo
it sounds more natural (at least to me)
its data you dimwits
Correct, pronounced day-ta
Bold of you to assume that level of dedication and intellect on my part.
For some reason I find I use data (dah-ta) as a broad general term and data (day-ta) when I'm referring to a specific. So like many points of day-ta within the dah-ta. I don't know where I got this from or why I am this way.
Since English isn't my mother tongue, I would just sound weird when I say dai-ta, so I would just say da-ta. Much simpler, easier and takes shorter time to say than daita.
Separate names with a comma.
