-The feeling that it's much easier to progress on Applecraft than in real life. -Collecting diamond blocks to buy rares, or just to show off that you're the wealthiest player on the server. (aka flexing) -The feeling of uniqueness of having (computer-generated) rares which not a lot of players may have. -The fact that Applecraft's Blue world has been alive for almost 4 years and counting. -That this is one of the few multiplayer servers which never reset their Overworlds. -The economy, the circle of collecting materials, selling them, gaining DB, and restocking. -The server is full of colors and creativity, which naturally would attract one, unlike playing on a black and white server. -Not a lot will care about progressing in real life, as I mentioned above, and thus will believe that this is a virtual life in which one can do so many things in. -Building maparts and selling them. -That satisfactory feeling of extracting blocks off the world and putting it into some use. -Owning a shop which makes you feel like a successful man. XD -For combat lovers, it would be collecting the strongest weapons and armory which can be used to make oneself stronger and easier to win battles. -Building cities that spread across the world. -Claiming as much land as possible, just to have that feeling of "ruling the world" -Printing out the whole world's map and putting it on display. -Leaving behind footprints, like hey dude, look, this was all done by [someone]! -Helping others, in hope of becoming a staff member and to make this world A BETTER PLACE! -Making friends and simping random girls. -Raiding bases in red. -Chilling in creative to express one's own obsession with architecture. -Some casual games are hosted often, such as Tag or Among Us. -Big events that offer actual money prizes to the winners. TLDR: Nine main factors that make this server attractive: -Rares -Economy -Claims -Ranks -Buildings -Maparts -PvP -Community -Events
ngl if towns on applecraft actually had a purpose and weren't just "lets build next to each other" i think towns and building huge ass cities would be what id do on here. but since they're practically useless it just seems we have towns on here for the sake of saying on the vote sites "we have towns on this server"
